The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) on November 17, 2025, notified regarding the authorization for Revocation of Closure Directions for Sanganer Textile Units.
The State Board had earlier issued procedures for issuing and revoking closure directions under Section 33(A) of the Water Act, 1974, and Section 31(A) of the Air Act, 1981, through an office order dated December 18, 2024, later partially modified on February 20, 2025. In a further partial modification, the Regional Officer, Jaipur (South), has now been authorized to revoke closure directions issued under these provisions and to process subsequent consent applications for textile units located in the Sanganer area of Jaipur. This order takes immediate effect and will remain valid for one year.
