The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB), on June 04, 2025, notified regarding the Auto-renewal system for Consent to Operate.
The following amendment has been stated namely:-
• The Auzo-Renewal system applies exclusively to the renewal of the Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and/or the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
• Units categorized as Red, Orange, and Green, which have obtained Consent to Operate from the State Board and are not in negative list or List of Exclusions, may apply for the renewal of their Consent to Operate under the Auto-Renewal system, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
• The Auto-Renewal Certificate of Consent to Operate shall be considered valid for regulatory compliance under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and under various rules of Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.
