Industry Specific ComplianceThe Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on November 28, 2025, issued the Direction Reserve Bank of India (Non-Banking Financial Companies – Microfinance Institution) Directions, 2025.

The following has been stated namely: -

• These Directions shall be applicable to every Non-Banking Financial Company – Microfinance Institution

• The Role of Board has been stated in the Direction

• The Qualifying Assets and Permissible Activities has been stated in the Direction.

This shall come into force on November 28, 2025
