The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on November 28, 2025, issued the Reserve Bank of India (Non-Banking Financial Companies – Miscellaneous) Directions, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• These Directions shall be applicable to Non-Banking Financial Companies, excluding Housing Finance Companies (HFCs)
• The Specific directions applicable to NBFC-FACTORS and NBFC-ICCs registered under the Factor Regulation Act, 2011 has been stated in the Direction
• The NBFC-Factors with asset size of ₹500 crore and above and NBFC-ICCs granted CoR has been stated in the Direction.
This shall come into force on November 28, 2025
