Industry Specific Compliance The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on November 28, 2025, issued the Reserve Bank of India (Credit Information Companies) Directions, 2025.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The provisions of these Directions shall be applicable to Credit Information Companies as defined in these Directions, hereinafter collectively referred to as ‘CICs’ and individually as a ‘CIC

• The Role of the Board has been stated in the Direction

• The Statutory Framework Governing CICs has been stated in the Direction.

This shall come into force on November 28, 2025
