The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on December 05, 2025, notified regarding the Values Education Programme for Schools.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It informs schools about the updated structure of the Awakened Citizen Programme, a value-based education initiative by the Ramakrishna Mission. The programme now offers two formats: a one-year AACT module (16 sessions) and a five-year graded version for primary students, both designed to build character, values, and responsible decision-making through interactive discussions.
• Participation is optional, and interested schools can register with the Mission, which will provide training and learning materials.
