The Tea Board of India on December 03, 2025, issued the SOP for Compilation of Information provided under Form ‘E’ by the Tea Manufacturers.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that all registered tea manufacturers shall submit a monthly return in Form-E — covering production, sales, tea-waste data, payments to small growers, and private-sale details — via the Tea Board’s online eGiCCS portal by the 7th of each month for the preceding month.
• Submission shall include complete data (including green-leaf prices paid to small growers and private-sale records) and be corroborated with GST and sales registers to ensure accuracy and transparency.
• To enforce compliance, the Tea Board has designated field officers to monitor submissions, verify data authenticity, track regional compliance status, and escalate non-compliant cases for corrective action.
• Failure to submit on time, or incomplete reporting, may lead to serious consequences — including suspension or cancellation of the manufacturer’s licence.
