The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) on October 09, 2025, notified regarding the revised OCEMS Calibration and Alert Protocols; Compliance Made Mandatory for Industries.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Central Pollution Control Board has finalized and published updated protocols for Online Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (OCEMS), covering both automated alert generation and calibration requirements. State Pollution Control Boards have been directed under Section 18(1)(b) of the Water and Air Acts to enforce adherence to these revised standards.
• All industries currently operating or required to install OCEMS shall now comply with the updated protocols to ensure accurate environmental self-monitoring and regulatory reporting.
