EHS ComplianceThe Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) on October 28, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Mandatory Submission of Effluent Disposal Certificate for Consent Applications of Health Care Facilities

The following has been stated namely: -

• Health Care Facilities (HCFs) discharging wastewater into a public sewer linked to a terminal STP are exempted from installing their own STP, except those with more than 100 beds, linked to medical colleges/educational institutions, or requiring Environmental Clearance under the EIA Notification.

• HCFs must submit a certificate/letter from the competent authority (Municipal Body/Development Authority/Panchayat) confirming their wastewater disposal into a public sewer connected to a terminal STP.

• The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board has made this certificate a mandatory document at the pre-screening stage for Consent to Operate/Authorization applications of eligible HCFs.

This shall come into force on October 28, 2025.
