The Government of Chhattisgarh December 01, 2025, issued amendment to the Chhattisgarh Land Development Rules, 1984.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In sub-rule (1) of rule 38, the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:-
"(1) Permitted use of premises in land use classification- Subject to other provision of this rule, following Industries shall be restricted in residential and commercial use zones,-
(i) Industries categorized under Red, Orange, Green and Blue category shall not be permitted in residential use zones.
(ii) Industries categorized under Red, Orange category shall not be permitted in commercial use zones.
Note:- The Categorization of Industries as Red, Orange, Green, White and Blue shall be as notified by Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board from time to time."
• In clause L-6 of Appendix-L, for the figure "100", the figure "1000" shall be substituted.
Any objection or suggestion, regarding the said draft received from any person before the specified period during office hours, in the office of the Secretary, Department of Housing and Environment, Government of Chhattisgarh, Room No. S-2-23, Mahanadi Bhawan, Mantralaya, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, shall be considered by the Government of Chhattisgarh.
The said draft shall be taken into consideration after expiry of 15 days from the date of publication of this notice in the Official Gazette.
