The Government of Telangana on December 02, 2025, issued the Holiday in Sangareddy District due to elections to Gram Panchayat.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Gram Panchayat Elections 2025 will be held in three phases:
o Phase I: December 11, 2025
o Phase II: December 14, 2025
o Phase III: December 17, 2025
• Local/Public Holiday is declared only in the polling areas for each phase on the respective poll day.
• The holiday applies to Government offices, local bodies, PSUs, educational institutions (Govt/Aided/Private), and all public & private establishments in the poll-bound areas. Central Government employees who are voters may take limited time-off.
• The poll day is declared a Public Holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act / Shops & Establishments Act, and all institutions must strictly comply to ensure free, fair, and peaceful elections.
