Industry Specific Complianceclass="MsoNormal">The Department of Law, Government of Goa, on November 14, 2025, issued the Goa Municipalities (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025, to further amend the Goa Municipalities Act, 1968.

In Section 184, sub-section (8), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:— “Provided that a building which is reflected in the record of rights and the first promulgated survey plan prepared under the provisions of the Goa Land Revenue Code, 1968 (9 of 1969) shall be deemed to have been constructed with due permission of the Chief Officer”
