The Town and Country Planning Department, Government of Himachal Pradesh, on December 08, 2025, issued the Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning (Sixteenth Amendment) Rules, 2025, to further amend the Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning Rules, 2014.
The following amendment has been stated namely: -
• For Sr. No. 1 and 2 of Clause III General Regulations, the following shall be substituted, namely:- Ownership documents of the land showing clear title in the name of the applicant(s) free from all encumbrances shall mandatorily be submitted.
• The amendment primarily pertains to modifications in Appendix-1 of the 2014 Rules, specifically substituting Clause II with an updated version to align the procedural framework and documentation standards under the Act.
