Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX), on December 09, 2025, issued an circular regarding applicability of the Event based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM).

The following has been stated namely: -

• In accordance with the same, based on the High-Low variation, [(High-Low)/Low x 100], E-ASM of 2.5 percent has been re-triggered and will be applicable on all the running contracts and yet to be launched contracts in Coriander till December 31st, 2025.

• Only Coriander has triggered E-ASM based on a 10-day price movement of 15%, with the measure becoming effective on 09-Dec-2025 and remaining applicable until 31-Dec-2025. All other commodities—Barley, Castor Seed, Guar Gum, Guar Seed, Jeera (including Jeera Mini), and Turmeric—show no E-ASM triggers under either the 5-day or 10-day movement criteria
