The University Grants Commission (UGC) on December 05, 2025, notified regarding the Institutional Programmes/Workshops to Promote Women's Participation and Empowerment in Higher Education.
Institutions have been advised to conduct programs, seminars, and workshops focused on gender sensitization, leadership development, and women’s empowerment in alignment with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. These initiatives aim to enhance women’s participation in higher education, innovation, and entrepreneurship, while fostering an inclusive and supportive learning ecosystem.
