The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on December 09, 2025, notified regarding the Update of correct and valid FATCA/CRS information.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It has informed all members that additional validations for correct and valid FATCA/CRS information will be implemented on the NSE MF Invest platform with effect from December 10, 2025, in continuation of its earlier notice dated September 30, 2025.
• The update introduces new identification types received from the RTA, along with a revised country-wise TIN structure and an updated web file structure for FATCA processing.
• These changes are aimed at strengthening the accuracy and regulatory compliance of investor tax-related data captured through the platform.
• Members are required to align their systems and uploads with the revised formats and validation rules from the effective date.
