The Central Government, on December 05, 2025, issued the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code (Amendment) Bill, 2025, to further amend the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020.
The following amendments have been stated:-
• In section 2, sub-section (1), after clause (f), in sub-clause (i), for the words "employed on wages", the words "employed on wages, or on the basis of a contract," shall be substituted.
• After section 25 of the Code, the following section shall be inserted, namely:- "25A. (1) Every worker shall have the right to disconnect out of work hours.
