Industry Specific ComplianceThe Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on December 10, 2025, issued a notification regarding directions for on-spot Airport Inspections.

The following has been stated: -

•The DGCA has mandated that all inspection teams conduct short, on-arrival airport inspections to strengthen regulatory oversight amid operational challenges. 

•These checks will cover licensing, safety management, ground handling, passenger amenities, and emergency preparedness. 

•Teams must stay at least one hour, issue immediate rectification instructions, and submit reports within 48 hours.

•A detailed Special Airport Inspection Checklist will guide consistent assessments and support monthly compliance reviews.
