The Government of Goa, on December 09, 2025, issued the Jan Vishwas (Laws Amendment) Ordinance, 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•The enactments specified in columns (4) of the Schedule I and Schedule II hereto are hereby amended to the extent and in the manner specified in columns (5) of the said Schedules respectively.
•The fines and penalties provided under various provisions in the enactments specified in Schedule I shall be increased by ten per cent. of the minimum amount of penalty, as the case may be, specified therefor, after the expiry of every three years from the date of commencement of this Ordinance.
It shall come into force at once.
