It states that using the authority granted under Section 7(3) of the Maharashtra Private Universities (Establishment and Regulations) Act, 2023 (Mah. VIII of 2024), has officially notified that Pillai University, Navi Mumbai will become operational from 5th December 2025. This declaration is issued through Notification No. SFU.2025/E-969282/Uni.4, thereby marking the commencement of academic and administrative functioning of the newly established private university.
