The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on December 12, 2025, issued a notification regarding Trading Holidays for the Calendar Year 2026 for Equity and Equity Derivatives Segments.
The following has been stated: -
•The Exchange has released the 2026 trading holiday list, covering major national and religious holidays from Republic Day (January 26) to Christmas (December 25).
•A total of 15 trading holidays fall on weekdays, during which the Equity and Equity Derivatives segments will remain closed.
•Four additional holidays fall on Saturday/Sunday, including Independence Day and Diwali (Laxmi Pujan).
•Muhurat Trading will be held on November 08, 2026 (Sunday), with timings to be announced later.
