The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), on December 11, 2025, issued the date of the establishment and the date of withdrawal of Indian standards particulars related to Voltage.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the dates of establishment shall be December 09, 2025:–
• IS 13925 (Part 1) : 2025 - IEC 60871-1 : 2014 - Shunt Capacitors for a.c. Power systems Having a Rated Voltage Above 1 000 V Part 1 General (Second Revision).
• IS 13925 (Part 2) : 2025 - IEC TS 60871-2 : 2014+AMD 1 : 2022 CSV Shunt Capacitors for a.c. Power Systems Having a Rated Voltage Above 1 000 V Part 2 Endurance Testing (Second Revision).
• IS 13925 (Part 3) : 2025 - IEC TS 60871-3 : 2015+ AMD 1 : 2023 CSV Shunt Capacitors for a.c. Power Systems Having a Rated Voltage Above 1 000 V Part 3 Protection of Shunt Capacitors and Shunt Capacitor Banks (First Revision).
• IS 13925 (Part 4) : 2025 - IEC 60871-4 : 2014 - Shunt Capacitors for a.c. Power Systems Having a Rated Voltage Above 1 000 V Part 4 Internal Fuses (First Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the date of withdrawal shall be June 09, 2026: -
• IS 13925 (Part 1) : 2012 - IEC 60871-1 : 2005 - Shunt Capacitors for ac Power Systems Having a Rated Voltage Above 1 000 V Part 1 General (First Revision).
• IS 13925 (Part 2) : 2002 - IEC 60871-2 (1999) - Shunt Capacitors for a.c. Power Systems Having a Rated Voltage Above 1 000 V Part 2 Endurance Testing (First Revision).
• IS 13925 (Part 3) : 2002 - IEC 60871-3 (1996) - Shunt Capacitors for a.c. Power Systems Having a Rated Voltage Above 1 000 V Part 3 Protection of Shunt Capacitors and Shunt Capacitor Banks.
• IS 13925 (Part 4) : 2013 - IEC 60871-4 : 1996 - Shunt Capacitors for a.c. Power Systems Having a Rated Voltage Above 1 000 V Part 4 Internal Fuses.
