The National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on December 11, 2025, notified regarding the introduction of New Transaction Type – Rdg Transfer.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In this connection, DPs are advised that the new transaction type “RDG Transfer” will now be made live on Friday i.e. December 12, 2025 (EOD). This functionality will enable seamless transfers of Government Securities between Demat and RDG accounts for Own Account Transfers, where there is no change in ownership, and also allow inter-depository transfers for the reason code “Transfer to own account”.
• DPs are requested to ensure that all readiness activities are completed, and systems are updated as per the details provided in our earlier communique no. 743. They should also refer to the updated UDiFF catalogue available on the CDSL website and implement any necessary changes in their back-office systems to support this functionality.
