Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Arunachal Pradesh, on November 07, 2025, issued an order concerning the fixation of Maximum Retail Price (MRP) for alcoholic beverages in the State. This follows earlier Government Notification No. Ex-514/MRP(R)/2024-2025/02/570 dated 26 September 2024, which revised the ad-valorem excise duty rates effective from 1 October 2024, and the Cost Card circulated via order dated 09 August 2024 for MRP computation.

Through this order, the Commissioner exercised powers under Rule 252(i) and (ii) of the Arunachal Pradesh Excise Rules, 1994, taking into account proposals received from companies and manufactories and the need to safeguard State revenue. The order formally fixes the MRP of newly introduced alcoholic beverage brands for civil marketing and sale in Arunachal Pradesh.

The revised MRPs are appended as Annexures I to III, and the notified prices shall remain in force until further orders. All stakeholders in civil supply, distribution, and retail sale are directed to comply with the newly fixed MRPs.
