Secretarial ComplianceThe NSE IFSC Limited (NSEIFSC), vide circular dated December 12, 2025, issued trading holiday schedules for the calendar year 2026 in accordance with clause 2 of Chapter VIII of its Bye-Laws and clause 2.3 of its Regulations. The Exchange has notified that January 26, 2026 (Republic Day) and October 02, 2026 (Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti) will be observed as trading holidays.

Further, the circular lists holidays falling on weekends, which include August 15, 2026 (Independence Day – Saturday) and November 08, 2026 (Diwali Laxmi Pujan – Sunday). The Exchange has additionally clarified that Muhurat Trading will be conducted on November 08, 2026, and the exact trading window for the session will be communicated at a later date.

The notification is addressed to all broker-dealers and remote trading participants to ensure compliance and operational planning for the upcoming trading year. The Exchange advises all participants to take note of the holiday calendar for seamless market functioning and advance preparedness.
