The Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoS&PI), on December 12, 2025, notified regarding the Consumer Price Index Numbers on Base 2012=100 for Rural, Urban and Combined for November, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Education Inflation: Year-on-year Education inflation rate for November 2025 is 3.38% (Provisional). Corresponding inflation rate for the month of October, 2025 was 3.54%. It is combined education inflation for both the rural and urban sectors.
• Health Inflation: Year-on-year Health inflation rate for November 2025 is 3.60% (Provisional). Corresponding inflation rate for the month of October, 2025 was 3.81%. It is the combined health inflation for both the rural and urban sectors.
• Transport & Communication: Year-on-year Transport & communication inflation rate for November 2025 is 0.88% (Provisional). Corresponding inflation rate for the month of October, 2025 was 0.94%. It is the combined inflation rate for both the rural and urban sectors.
• Fuel & light: Year-on-year Fuel & light inflation rate for November 2025 is 2.32% (Provisional). Corresponding inflation rate for the month of October, 2025 was 1.98%. It is the combined inflation rate for both the rural and urban sectors.
