The Government of Rajasthan, on December 11, 2025, issued a notification regarding the waiver of Stamp Duty on certain loan instruments.
The following has been stated: -
•The Rajasthan Government has waived stamp duty on specified loan instruments executed up to March 31, 2030.
•The waiver applies to loans taken for public service or state interest by government companies, corporations, societies, development authorities, municipalities, and urban improvement trusts.
•It covers both new loans and renewals executed with banks or financial institutions, including loans by Rajasthan State Power Finance and Financial Services Corporation Ltd.
•No refund will be granted for stamp duty already paid earlier.
