The Revenue (Group-6) Department, Govt. of Rajasthan, on December 11, 2025, issued the Rajasthan Land Revenue (Allotment of Land for Setting up of Power Plant based on Renewable Energy Sources) (Third Amendment) Rules, 2025, to further amend the Rajasthan Land Revenue (Allotment of Land for Setting up of Power Plant based on Renewable Energy Sources) Rules, 2007.
The following amendmnets has been stated namely: -
• In rule 2A, after the existing clause (4), the following new clause (5) shall be inserted, namely:- "5. (i) Compressed Bio Gas Plant for 1 MTPD capacity, 1 acre for the plant and 2.5 acres for feedstock storage and for other capacity, in proportionate to these criteria
(ii) Bio Coal Plant:- for 100 MTPD capacity, 2 acres and for other capacities, in proportionate to this criterion
(iii) Bio-Ethanol Plant:- for 100 kilo litre capacity, 1.5 acres and for other capacities, in proportionate to this criterion"
