The Commerce and Industry Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, on December 10, 2025, issued an amendment to the Chhattisgarh Government Stores Purchase Rules, 2002.
The following amendmnets has been stated namely: -
• In sub-rule 3.1.1, the words "purchase by following their rules and regulations, prescribed procedure" should be omitted.
• In sub-rule 4.3.1, clause (a), for the words "and" and Rs. 50,000 (fifty thousand)", the words "or" and "one lakh rupees" shall be substituted respectively.
• In sub-rule 4.3.1, clause (b), for the words "Rs. 50,000 (fifty thousand)", the words shall be substituted with: "one lakh rupees".
• In sub-rule 4.3.2, for the words "Rs. 50,001 to 3,00,000 (Rupees fifty thousand one to Rs. three lakh)", the words shall be substituted with: "Rs. 1,00,001 to 3,00,000 (Rupees one lakh one to Rs. three lakh)".
