The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on December 10, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Final redemption under Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) Scheme – Redemption Price for premature redemption due on December 11, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The due date of Final redemption of the above tranche shall be December 11, 2025.
• The redemption price for Final redemption due on December 11, 2025, shall be 12,801/- per unit of SGB based on the simple average of closing gold price for the three business days i.e., December 08, 2025, December 09, 2025, and December 10, 2025.
