The Government of Chhattisgarh on December 05, 2025, issued the NABARD Assisted Warehouse-cum-Office Construction Scheme, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The scheme aims to support the construction of warehouses along with office facilities through financial assistance from NABARD, improving scientific storage, management, and operational efficiency.
• Under the scheme, financial assistance through NABARD will be provided for the construction of scientific warehouses integrated with office buildings, enabling cooperatives to efficiently manage storage, record-keeping, and administrative functions from a single facility.
• The scheme is designed to improve post-harvest management, minimize storage losses of agricultural produce, and enhance transparency and efficiency in cooperative operations.
• Implementation will be overseen by the Cooperation Department, with detailed provisions relating to eligibility, cost norms, funding pattern, and execution procedures prescribed in the annexure to the notification.
• Overall, the scheme supports rural economic development by strengthening cooperative marketing, credit delivery, and logistics infrastructure in the State.
