The Multi-Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited (MCX) on December 15, 2025, notified regarding the introduction of Representation of Penalty Waiver/Reversal Request through Member Reporting Portal (MRP).
The following has been stated namely: -
• It has introduced a facility for members to submit penalty waiver or reversal requests through the Member Reporting Portal (MRP), replacing earlier submission processes. This applies specifically to penalties for non-submission of collateral segregation data and penalties for Client Margin Reporting (CMR).
• Members shall now use the MRP and follow the step-by-step online procedure to upload supporting documents and submit requests.
• The circular includes a detailed process manual outlining how to select penalty types, upload evidence, and track request status within the portal.
• This change aims to streamline and digitize penalty waiver submissions for enhanced efficiency and transparency.
