The Government of Manipur, on December 09, 2025, issued the Draft Wangjing Lamding Municipality Building Bye-Laws, 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•The draft bye-laws regulate planning, design, and construction of buildings within Wangjing Lamding Municipality to ensure orderly urban development.
•They prescribe norms for land use, building height, coverage, setbacks, and safety requirements in line with modern standards.
•Provisions are included for approval procedures, compliance, and penalties for violations.
•The bye-laws aim to promote sustainable, safe, and efficient infrastructure development within the municipal area.
Any objection(s)/suggestion(s) may be submitted within 7 days from December 09, 2025.
