The Government of Manipur, on December 05, 2025, issued the Draft Lilong (Imphal West) Municipal Council Building Byelaws, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Lilong (Imphal West) Municipal Council proposes to adopt "the Model Manipur Unified Building Bye-laws, 2024", which was notified by Government vide notification No. BBL-101/1/2024-MAHUDMAHUD-Part (1) dated the 4th December, 2024 and No. BBL-101/1/2-22-MAHUD-MAHUD dated the 31st December, 2024, as "Lilong (Imphal West) Municipal Council Building Byelaws, 2025" from the date of notification in the Official Gazette of Manipur.
• Any objections(s)/suggestions to the introduction of the Unified Building Bye-laws may be submitted to reach the Chief Executive Officer, Lilong (Imphal West) Municipal Council, Manipur, within 7 (Seven) days from the date of notification. Objections(s)/Suggestions(s) received after the aforesaid period shall not be entertained.
• Copies of the aforesaid "Lilong (Imphal West) Municipal Council Building Bye-laws, 2025" shall be available for inspection in the office of the undersigned from 11.00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M on all the specified working days. The same will also be available at the Town Planning Department official website https://tpmanipur.mn.gov.in.
