The Government of Manipur on December 05, 2025, issued the Draft Thongkhong Laxmi Municipal Council Building Bye-Laws, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Thongkhong Laxmi Municipal Council has proposed to adopt the Model Manipur Unified Building Bye-Laws, 2024, as the Thongkhong Laxmi Municipal Council Building Bye-Laws, 2025, in accordance with Sections 211(1) and 212 of the Manipur Municipalities Act, 1994.
• The adoption will take effect from the date of publication in the Official Gazette of Manipur.
• The public has been invited to submit objections or suggestions by December 18, 2025.
• Copies of the proposed bye-laws are available for inspection at the Municipal Council office during working hours and on the Town Planning Department’s official website.
