Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Textiles, on December 16, 2025, issued a notification regarding government measures to support India’s Textile & Apparel Exports.

The following has been stated: -

•India’s textile and apparel exports stood at USD 20.4 billion during April–October 2025, showing overall stability despite global tariff challenges, with growth in garments and jute products.

•Exports grew in over 100 countries, reflecting market diversification and resilience of the sector.

•The Government is strengthening competitiveness through schemes like PM MITRA, PLI, National Technical Textiles Mission, skill development, duty exemptions, GST rationalisation, and export remission schemes.

•FTAs, market diversification strategies, export finance missions, credit guarantees, and easing of QCOs aim to boost exports, reduce costs, and enhance global presence.
