The Government of Rajasthan on December 11, 2025, issued the Rajasthan Land Revenue (Allotment and Conversion of Lands for the Construction of Seed Godowns) (Amendment) Rules, 2025 to further amend the Rajasthan Land Revenue (Allotment and Conversion of Lands for Construction of Seed Godowns) Rules, 1965.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In rule 4 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue (Allotment and Conversion of Lands for the Construction of Seed Godowns) Rules, 1965, hereinafter referred to as the said rules,-
o for the existing punctuation mark “.”, appearing at the end, the punctuation mark “:” shall be substituted; and
o at the end, the following proviso shall be added, namely:- “Provided that in case of allotment to the Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACS) or KrayVikraySahkariSamiti (KVSS), maximum area for allotted shall be upto 3000 sq. meters.”
• The existing clause (i) of rule 5 of the said rules shall be substituted by the following, namely:-
“(i) The allotment of unoccupied Government land upto an area not exceeding 1500 sq. meters to an eligible co-operative society shall be free of cost and area exceeding 1500 sq. meters shall be allotted on payment of the premium equal to market value of agriculture land calculated on the basis of rates recommended by District Level Committee constituted under the Rajasthan Stamp Rules, 2004.”
They shall come into force at once.
