The Government of Manipur, on December 15, 2025, issued the Unified Zoning / Used Regulation Bye-Laws for the Master Plan Areas of Manipur (First Amendment), 2025, further to amend the Unified Zoning/Used Regulation Bye-Laws for the Master Plan Areas of Manipur, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•Section 5 of the Unified Zoning / Land Use Regulation Bye-Laws for Master Plan Areas of Manipur, 2024 has been amended for the Mixed Use Zone.
•All land uses are permitted in this zone except a specified list of prohibited activities, including cemeteries, livestock-related industries, hazardous storage, warehouses, jails, junk yards, and wholesale trade.
•The Authority may also prohibit any other use deemed hazardous, polluting, or nuisance-causing.
They shall come into force from December 15, 2025.
