The Government of Manipur on December 15, 2025, issued the Bishnupur Municipal Council Building Bye-Laws, 2025.
It states that the Bishnupur Municipal Council has finalized and notified the Bishnupur Municipal Council Building Bye-Laws, 2025, by adopting the Model Manipur Unified Building Bye-Laws, 2024, as notified by the State Government in October and December 2024. The draft bye-laws were earlier published on December 03, 2025, and are now issued in exercise of powers under Section 212 of the Manipur Municipalities Act, 1994. The finalized bye-laws have been published in the Manipur Gazette Extraordinary for general information. The full text is available as an Annexure on the Town Planning Department’s official website
