Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways (MoPSW) on December 17, 2025, notified regarding the implementation of the Bills of Lading Act, 2025, in the Ports of Andhra Pradesh.

It states that the Bills of Lading Act, 2025, has come into force with effect from September 10, 2025, which applies to all ports. The Act has simplified the language of its provisions, enhancing clarity, promoting ease of understanding, and enabling smoother enforcement for improved logistics across all ports, including Visakhapatnam & Kakinada.
