EHS ComplianceThe Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Govt. of West Bengal on December 09, 2025, issued a relief order for Very Small Single-Storied Establishments under the Fire Safety Regulatory Regime.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The Government has introduced an instant, real-time online “Spot Fire License” system for very small, single-storied, low-hazard establishments, allowing issuance without prior physical inspection to provide regulatory relief and ease of compliance.
