The Dental Council of India (DCI), on December 15, 2025, notified regarding uploading the details of students admitted in the BDS course for the academic session 2025-26 on the DCI website.
The following has been stated namely: -
It states that MCC has uploaded the revised schedule for online Counselling for BDS / B.Sc. (Nursing)- 2025 and the last date for joining the BDS Course for the academic session 2025-26 as December 31, 2025.
All dental colleges are directed to upload details of students admitted to the BDS course for 2025–26 on the DCI portal using their allotted login credentials on or before December 31, 2025 (12:00 midnight). Admissions claimed after this deadline will attract provisions of the Dentists Act/Amendment Act, and such students will be treated as not admitted for the session.
To avoid technical issues and last-minute delays, colleges must upload student details immediately after each counselling round and not wait until the cut-off date. Uploading of details after each round is mandatory.
Colleges are strictly warned to upload details only of genuine and bonafide admissions. Uploading incorrect or false information may lead to penal action by DCI. Only the details uploaded on the DCI portal will be forwarded to State Dental Councils/Tribunals for registration of the BDS degree.
DCI will not accept student details through email, post, or any other mode, and no request for extension or claims of technical issues will be entertained.
