The Directorate General of Foreign Trade, on December 17, 2025, issued the procedure for the implementation of the import management system for the import of restricted IT hardware for the calendar year 2026.
In continuation of the earlier notifications to this regard, the import management system for the import of restricted IT hardware for the calendar year 2026 is as follows:
• Importers shall apply in the import management system for import authorisation on the DGFT website.
• Application portal will be open from December 22, 2025, to December 12, 2026.
• Any authorisation issued for such import will be valid till December 31, 2026.
• Any importer is allowed to submit multiple applications in a year.
