EHS ComplianceThe Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, on November 24, 2025, issued directions under section 5 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, to all Government Offices under GNCTD and all Private Offices operating within the National Capital Territory of Delhi, to work on 50% strength and the rest to work from home under the Graded Response Action Plan.

The following has been stated: -

•Due to severe winter air pollution in Delhi and revised GRAP provisions, the Commission for Air Quality Management has advanced work-from-home measures to GRAP Stage-III.

•Under Section 5 of the Environment (Protection) Act, all GNCTD offices shall function with a maximum of 50% staff physically present, with the remaining staff working from home.

•All private offices in NCT of Delhi must also limit physical attendance to 50%, implement work-from-home and staggered hours, and reduce vehicular movement.

•Essential and emergency services are exempt, and non-compliance will attract penalties under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.
