The Department of Transport, Mizoram, on December 11, 2025, issued a notification regarding the approved Guidelines for Two-Wheeler Taxi Colour.
The following has been stated: -
•Two-wheeler taxis must have a white or off-white base colour, with company colours displayed as prescribed.
•A 4-inch golden yellow strip with clear red lettering, such as “Aizawl Taxi” or “Lunglei Taxi,” must be fixed on both rear sides, using simple and readable fonts only.
•The front mudguard must be fully painted golden yellow with the word “Taxi” written in red. Additionally, “Taxi” must also be clearly displayed in red on a golden yellow background at the rear centre of the vehicle.
