The Transport Department, Government of Meghalaya, on November 18, 2025, issued the Meghalaya Electric Vehicle Subsidy Portal for disbursement of subsidies to the owners of electric vehicles registered all over the State of Meghalaya as per the Meghalaya Electric Vehicle Policy, 2021.
The following has been stated namely:-
• All electric vehicle owners are therefore requested to avail this opportunity and to register at the prescribed portal within three months from the date of launching.
• The details to check for eligibility criteria to apply for subsidy is available at the Transport Department portal - www.megtransport.gov.in
