The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), on December 19, 2025, issued a circular notifying the trading holidays for the NSE MF Invest Platform for the calendar year 2026. The circular has been released by the NMF TM Segment for the information of all members.
As per the notification, trading on the NSE MF Invest Platform will remain closed on 15 specified holidays in 2026, including national and festival holidays such as Republic Day, Holi, Shri Ram Navami, Mahavir Jayanti, Good Friday, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti, Maharashtra Day, Bakri Id, Muharram, Ganesh Chaturthi, Gandhi Jayanti, Dussehra, Diwali (Balipratipada), Prakash Gurpurb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev, and Christmas.
The circular also lists holidays that fall on Saturdays or Sundays during 2026, namely Mahashivratri, Id-Ul-Fitr (Ramzan Eid), Bakri Id, and Muharram, which do not result in additional trading closures. Members are advised to take note of the holiday schedule and plan their trading and operational activities accordingly.
