Finance & Taxation Complianceclass="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Excise, Registration, Taxation & Stamps Department, Government of Meghalaya, on September 17, 2025, notified an extension for small taxpayers with a Turnover of up to ₹2 Crore from Filing GST Annual Returns.

It states that, on the recommendation of the GST Council, the government has exempted registered persons with an aggregate turnover of up to ₹2 crore from filing the GST annual return under the Meghalaya GST Act, 2017. This exemption is applicable for FY 2024–25 onwards, reducing compliance burden for small taxpayers.
