Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on December 15, 2025, issued the notification regarding the amendment to notification no. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) dated August 03, 2001 regarding the Tariff value on Crude Palm Oil, Gold, etc.”

The following has been stated namely: -

• The TABLE-1, TABLE-2 and TABLE-3 has been substituted, revising tariff values for specified goods such as edible oils, brass scrap, gold, silver, and areca nuts.

• TABLE-1 revises tariff values for crude and refined palm oil, palmolein, soya bean oil, and brass scrap (values in US$ per metric tonne).

• TABLE-2 revises tariff values for gold and silver in various forms.

• TABLE-3 revises the tariff value for areca nuts.

The notification comes into force on December 16, 2025.
