The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on December 17, 2025, notified regarding the procedure for Allocation of TRQ under tariff head 7108 under India-UAE CEPA for FY 2025-26.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It has notified the procedure for allocation of Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) for goods under tariff head 7108 (gold) in accordance with the India–UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) for FY 2025–26.
• The notification outlines the eligibility conditions, application process, and allocation mechanism for eligible importers seeking concessional duty benefits under the CEPA framework.
• It also specifies the timelines, documentation requirements, and validity of TRQ certificates, ensuring transparent and orderly administration of quota-based imports.
